Photography for me is a way of noticing - noticing beauty in nature, in people, and in quiet moments often overlooked. My work is shaped by travel, reflection, and faith, seeking to create images that feel calm, raw and sincere.

I’m Nafisah, a half Japanese half Pakistani photographer drawn to nature, storytelling, and meaningful moments. What began as a personal way to document the beauty I encountered - mountains, coastlines, cities and cultures - slowly became a practice of slowing down, reflecting, and appreciating the beauty and details placed within creation.

As a Muslim, my faith shapes the way I see the world and approach photography. Alongside my personal creative work, I photograph Islamic events and gatherings through Sacred Frames documenting moments of knowledge, community and remembrance.

A deep passion for protecting the natural world and treading lightly on the earth runs as a primary undercurrent throughout all my work, reflecting both my spiritual perspective and personal values.

Whether photographing landscapes or live events, my intention remains the same; to capture moments with purpose and authenticity, approaching every space with respect and quiet observation. My aim is to create imagery that feels honest, unobtrusive, and meaningful – allowing people to remain present while moments unfold naturally.
